An authentic Langa farmhouse, in the heart of the UNESCO Heritage area — the oldest in the hamlet, once called Cucchi and now Manzoni — carefully restored using reclaimed bricks, terracotta tiles, wood, and iron.

The first time we saw it, it was silent, with walls marked by time and ancient beams that seemed to be waiting to breathe again.

We began by removing layers of plaster, bringing bricks, stones, and arches back to light — reopening old passages that had long been closed and uncovering pieces of history hidden by time.

The interiors were renewed without erasing the soul of the place: all the wood from the old roof was salvaged and transformed into lintels, staircases, furniture, and structural details.

Natural lime-plastered walls, old terracotta floors recovered and reused as sills and flooring, vintage furnishings, and handmade details.

Today, every space tells its own story — from the old cellar, where we preserved the original brick vaults, to the room “La Granda,” which keeps its charm in the exposed brick wall and the old door that once connected it to the adjoining room.

The staircase leading you to the first floor is the same that carried the footsteps of previous generations, and the beds and wardrobes you’ll find in the rooms have already lived many lives — all of them part of our family.

From bare structure to new home, this is our journey of restoration — made of dust, ideas, and patience. We chose authentic materials, artisanal work, and care for every detail, to preserve what the farmhouse once was and transform it into a place shaped around us, warm and welcoming.

We are thrilled at the thought of welcoming you, certain that you too will feel like friends in “our home.”
